I've worked with Coney over the past 10 years, in a number of different roles. I'm now Associate Director, with a focus on making work for, by, & with Young People. There are projects that land in schools, in museums or in public spaces - they all are rooted in play, and how that be used to spark change. Some of the links will take you to Coney's website.

Young Coneys

The Young Coneys is our regular offer to young people in Tower Hamlets exploring Playful Activism through the Young Coneys Training Programme. The programme runs in schools and looks at how we can make 'Gifts' to spark change.

The Ministry of Time Travel

We welcome audiences to the world of The Ministry of Time Travel, a secret organisation based at the heart of The National Archives, to use the evidence from the past available there, to safeguard time itself!

The Barbican Box

Both a playful resource and a portal to a Secret Agency. The Box upskilled students in Manchester and Harlow in making art, resulting in the creation of a co-devised playful intervention in their school which prompted care for others, their environment and themselves.

Common Ground

We’ve teamed up with Common Ground to create and deliver a series of creative, playful workshops for 13-18 year-olds across four heritage sites in East Anglia over summer 2022, creating new games that bring audiences to these spaces.

The Undercover CareTaker Agency

A mysterious box lands in the classroom - a beacon - calling for help! Designed in response to the impact of the pandemic on young people, this playful experience is aims to increase wellbeing, empower young people to playfully spark change in their schools, and celebrate being back together with their school communities.

Phoebe The Apprentice Ranger

An outdoor family adventure around the grounds of Polesden Lacey, commissioned by the National Trust, where audiences can receive an adventure map to help Phoebe on her mission to become a full time Ranger.

The Shadow of the Future

A game created for KS3 students to help them explore and understand the complexities of the Cold War Crisis, playable at Imperial War Museums Duxford for class visits.

The Droves

A full scale immersive show designed, written & performed by a group of 7-12 year olds. Co-created over three years, this production welcomed audiences to an old carpet factory, where a group of young people were plotting
