What has the past held?
Since arriving over 10,351 days ago, I've been fortunate to work with a number of venues and companies to create unique participatory work.
I graduated from East 15 Acting School with BA in Community Theatre in 2010 and set out to find my feet in the ever changing world of the arts.
The past has seen many fun times had with theatre-makers Coney, and I'm proud to say I'm now an Associate Artist with them. I’ve been lucky enough to work with them on a range of projects from performing on their House of Cards project at Kensington Palace to running community-led projects nationwide. I've been involved in the development of their Inspiration Days and their Adventures in Learning projects. We're moving away from the past though, but they're great, and if you want to know more about them then you should check out their website here .
2015 saw me named on the BBC Performing Arts Fund's ‘One to Watch’ list and complete my BBC Fellowship in Community Theatre with the The Old Vic. I worked extensively with Old Vic New Voices and was an Assistant Director on the Old Vic Community Company show ‘Ages’ followed by being an Associate Director on the Community Company Writers rehearsed readings as part of the OVNV Festival.
2015 also saw the debut of my first solo show The Eulogy of Toby Peach, but there's a whole page on that so I'll leave you to find that.
I'm also an Associate with NYT and worked with them as a company manager at the Olympics in 2012, on a Cultural Exchange Programme in Saudi Arabia and directing on their Summer Courses.
I have also created work with Battersea Arts Centre, where I was involved in constructing educational adventures throughout their building and have created bespoke storytelling workshops for The Roald Dahl Museum.
